Incredibly rare special edition shirt, worn in only 2 matches during Southampton’s short 2003-04 UEFA Cup campaign (both against Romanian side Steaua Bucharest). This European shirt differs markedly from the domestic home shirt, featuring more stripes, UEFA Cup detailing to reverse neck and inner neck label, central badge, and unique club name print. This shirt is a true rarity owing to the fact that the Saints rarely compete in European football, and that this specific shirt was only worn on 2 occasions. Condition - Excellent, almost perfect original condition. Only defect of note is a couple of small cracks to lettering, as shown. The flock print is extremely well-applied and isn’t peeling at all, the cracks are from ordinary wear and aren’t noticeable when worn. Otherwise top condition.
